Centre Opens New Building
From The Sentinel, 21 July 2008:
An enterprise centre on the site of a former colliery is to expand.
The Chatterley Whitfield Enterprise Centre is to be extended into a second building on the historic site, near Fegg Hayes, to provide more workshops for local businesses.
Prospective tenants are being invited to an open day on Wednesday, July 30, to take a look at the current facilities and the expansion plans.
The North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding a lunch and networking event on the same day, with around 60 businesses expected to attend.
The enterprise centre, which is managed by the Business Innovation Centre and funded by Stoke-on-Trent City Council, currently has 22 office and work units as well as conference facilities.
